Artist Interview: Shundria Patrice

Tell us about yourself and your music

My name is Shundria, and I was born and raised in Macon,GA. I have been singing ever since I was four years old, with my mom and sisters. My music is my passion. I love God, and I want my music to draw people closer to him.

 

Talk to us more about your latest release

My latest cd is titled, “Chosen”. I have one of the greatest producers!!! We came together and was able to make and awesome project.

 

What inspired you to write this release?

God. As I stated before, music is my passion. I am a true worshipper. When you have a relationship with God, you can’t help but want to express what he’s given you.

Any plans to release a video?

Yes! I am planning on releasing a video by May 2017. I am super excited about what’s to come.

 

 

Any plans to hit the road?

Yes. I will be going on the road very soon. We have some concerts and things in the works now.

As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?

I have to thank my manager for this one. I honestly didn’t know where to begin when it came to this. She stepped in and helped me so much. She has been able to get my music to places that I couldn’t.

Tell us about your passions

My children! My family! I am big on family. My family has been there for me throughout my career. They have supported me, prayed for me and pushed me to go harder. I thank them for that.

What else is happening next in your world?

I’m currently the minister of music at Word of Life Ministries in Warner Robins, GA. I love my church family so much. I’m looking forward to growing with them.
