Artist Interview: In Exile

Artist Interview: In Exile

Tell us about yourself and your music

Yeah… It’s been a long time. I started playing in the 60’s and have never stopped. Lots of bands and gigs as well as becoming a recording engineer and building/operating a number of commercial recording studios. So what does that mean? Lots of influences and control. Some schooling at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass. USA. Nine albums released and a 10th is currently nearing completion. Mostly about composition and recording but I still continue to do some live performances as well.

Talk to us more about your latest release

My most current album was released 11/23/2015 as I maintain my album/2-years release schedule. It’s called We Come From The Stars and is available via CDBaby.com as well as all the music systems such as iTunes, Spotify, Amazonmp3 etc.

Lots of rocking guitars with solid drums and bass!

What inspired you to write this release?

Desire to have more people hear my music drove me to this…

Any plans to release a video?

Not currently

Any plans to hit the road?

Not currently, but willing

As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?

I don’t. I believe that is up to the listeners/public.

Who have you been listening to lately?

Jean Michelle Jarre, Weather Report, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, The Aristocrats, Miles Davis, The Who, The Stones, Eric Clapton, Stevie Winwood, Mozart… The list goes on as I enjoy a wide variety of music.

Tell us about your passions

I am intrigued by Astronomy anda long time practitioner of martial arts

What else is happening next in your world?

Currently my fate has been tossed into the wind as I now wander homelessly setting up studio wherever I can.

Thanks for an awesome interview, Keni!
