Artist Interview: Ronnie Run
Tell us about yourself and your music
I am from a small town in North Carolina called Winterville. I love music of all kinds . I mainly listen to old school hip hop and old school 80s music. My music mainly want to touch lives and reach out to the kids.
Talk to us more about your latest release
My 2 latest release will impact the world. One is about anti-bullying called “Enough” which is a issue that needs to be address. And the other one is called ” Put it Down” with a sample of the old 80s song “Africa” by Toto.
What inspired you to write this release?
Because I think I can save hip hop from going down the drain.
Any plans to release a video?
Yes in the near future.
Any plans to hit the road?
Yes in March.
As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?
Because I don’t sound like everyone else and I’m trying to separate myself from the rest of the bunch.
Who have you been listening to lately?
I mainly listen to my own music because I don’t listen to the new stuff that’s out.
Tell us about your passions
God gets me out of bed every morning. And when I text my lady in the morning is a huge blessing.
What else is happening next in your world?
Shooting a music video and hopefully getting a record deal.
Thanks for an awesome interview, Ronnie!
