Artist Interview: LyricSin

Tell us about yourself and your music

I think my music defines me from the aspect of being an emotional minded person. I think being emotionally connected with myself allows me to create music that touches people and allows people to connect to the things I am talking about. I grew up in a semi troubled home everybody has their own hardships, but mine came from having to be alone a lot because of my moms problems with drugs and caring for my step dad at the time more then she cared for me and my sister. I turned that into a positive when I was 13 years old while at my grandmothers house everybody loves grandmas house for me it was a get away. She had a macbook and I stumbled upon garage band and from there I was hooked making and creating music was a way to put my life and my ideas together and I created something great.

 

Talk to us more about your latest release

My latest Release was Dial 911 which was for a upcoming mixtape titled “Love vs Fame”. Which got halted by the birth of my son and recently by my daughter in that song it talks about me loving someone to the point that no matter when she needs me ill be there no matter what. I record songs constantly and I write at least one song a day it helps me stay on top of my song writing the only way to get better is to do.

 

 

 

What inspired you to write this release?

The inspiration to write this song came from being in love with someone to the point that no matter what you are going to be there through it all. It was written for my kids mother who I felt very strongly for and that no matter what I was gonna have her back I feel that many people can relate to that.

Any plans to release a video?

I have talked about it, but haven’t made up my mind yet.

 

 

Any plans to hit the road?

I am always wanting to hit the road and do shows just havent got a team behind me yet to do so I just want to focus on making music and let my team handling the politics of it all.

As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?

I am an artist that sounds like me I don’t try and sound like anyone else I do my own thing when you hear my music you say thats LyricSin.

Who have you been listening to lately?

lately I have been listening to Childish Gambino and Shawn Mendes.

Tell us about your passions

Cars they are another passion of mine on top of fashion. Those two things I have to say give me a lot of happiness and make life more enjoyable and also my most favorite passion is hanging out with my kids they are my number one and I want to give them the world.

What else is happening next in your world?

I am in the process of purchasing a new car build which is a Mitsubishi Gsx and fixing it up.
