Step into Hip Hop Reality with J2E
Hailing from Ohio and proudly repping the Buckeye Nation – it’s J2E. Up and coming independent hip hop fans take notice, this artist is kicking in the door with both barrels blazing, building up to the release of his latest mixtape Step into Reality in early 2014. With a handful of recordings already out on the streets and 8 years of recording/mixing experience under his belt, this year is his time to shine.
J2E continues to incite hip hop fans throughout the Dayton and Columbus areas by occasionally leaking new tracks from Step into Reality via Facebook and Twitter. With songs like “Atta Boy” and the “Mind Your Business” single already circulating on social media, ReverbNation and internet radio, the impending debut of his best work yet is poised to launch him to all new heights.
Local radio and media outlets are starting to notice J2E’s fiery, rapid fire delivery and catchy lyric writing ability, as tracks are beginning to pop up on HOT 102.9, one of Dayton’s top hip hop and R&B stations. Performances throughout 2013 pumped up fans across Ohio as well, with successful shows at Club Vex, Club Heat, One Eyed Jack’s and Burnzie’s Tavern already in the books.
Tracks including “Go,” “Like a Monster,” and “Why Should I?” also raised some bloggers’ eyebrows at DaHipHopPlace.com during a review of his first EP Nice Guys Finish Last.
