Re-Introducing Inward's The TAKEOVER

Inward formed in the frigid winter of 2003, and after 6 years of trials and tribulations, found their niche in the Upstate New York hard rock/metalcore underground community. After a few short tour runs with All's Quiet, Ice Nine Kills, Sirens & Sailors, and Maylene and the Sons of Disasters, record labels and developmental companies began sending out offers. Inward signed with the Fidelity Entertainment Group and began recording their debut record, tentatively titled "The Takeover," which described their primary aspiration: world domination.
InwardAfter a year long run around, muddled with a relentless show/tour schedule, Inward was informed that the Fidelity Entertainment Group wasn't the company they promised to be, leaving Inward $7,000 in the hole, with only 4 songs to show for their hard work.
After a 2 year hiatus, Inward has returned with the same mission statement: we're taking over!
Inward combines huge arena rock choruses that pay homage to the likes of Motley Crue and Poison, with the intense in your face aggression of the metal-core genres, honing influence from Killswitch Engage, All that Remains, Memphis May Fire, etc.
Their live show goes above and beyond what their recordings have to offer, as they completely captivate every audience they perform for, no matter how large or small. Lead singer, Brandon Michael, is known for running across the crowd, or standing on them, he often climbs atop venues' sound system and plummets sometimes two stories onto the adoring crowd, he is a showman, always making sure to leave an impression on anyone who watches him. Lead guitarist, Joe Pollack, is Inward's golden ticket, as he lead work rivals and exceeds many of the all time greats (Slash, Mark Tremonti, Jeff Loomis, Micky Mars, etc.) and he has the rockstar look to boot. Rounding out their line up is the rhythm section, drummer Douglas Meyers and Paul Henley. These two are just along for the ride, however. Doug is always prepared for Brandon to launch himself into his drumset, and Doug is prepared to continue drumming. Paul Henley is a crowd commander, doing everything to make the crowd feel like they're a part of the band, whether is jamming in the crowd, throwing his mic into the sea of listeners, or inviting everyone to flood the stage.
Inward is back with a vengeance. Their return show is Saturday May 31, 2014 with an expected attendance of 500+ Inward intends to pick up with they left off and take their music as far as it will take them.
