The Finite Beings Bring Biblical Truths Through Heavy Christian Rock

Sometimes it only takes two. The Finite Beings, a pair of musicians from New Jersey, is delivering a gritty helping of biblical truth and contemporary hard rock with their debut self-titled album. Aimed at connecting with listeners both emotionally and spiritually while taking the audience on an exhilarating, adrenaline-fueled ride, this is the jolt of energy the Christian music scene has been begging for.

Finite BeingsReleased in January 2013, The Finite Beings is loaded with 12 tracks of impactful and charged Christian rock. Influenced by a variety of modern metal artists as well as classic legends from the past such as The Beatles and Pink Floyd, members Donny DePaola (guitar/bass/vocals) and Mike Nicholas (drums/vocals) strike a captivating balance to generate their trademark sound throughout the album.

Internet promotion quickly took off after the debut, as the album began to garner radio airplay around the country in New York, South Carolina, California and the Great Lakes area. International stations also picked up on The Finite Beings, who are now spinning in Toronto, Latin America, the United Kingdom and other countries in Western Europe.

So how did they discover this aggressive, yet uplifting and inspirational sound?

Drummer and lyricist Mike Nicholas explained in a recent interview, saying “My newly found faith inspired me to write a lot of Biblical messages relating to my personal experiences and, being in a Metal/Screamo band in my past, I wanted to keep the heavy, theatrical edginess that I grew up with. A lot of Christian music, despite having an awesome message, bores me believe it or not.”

While The Finite Beings remains a studio band for the time being, DePaola and Nicholas are on the hunt for like-minded musicians to hit the road with for performances throughout their area. A new album is also in the works, with the first track “Existence” already posted on their official Facebook page.

The Finite Beings album is available for purchase via iTunes now, and fans can check out streaming audio on their official website. Like them on Facebook to stay updated on all the latest music, as well as their future sophomore release.
