New Country Artist Jon Paiano Releases Debut EP 'Lifted'
Driven by the country greats of yesterday and today, local South
Jersey artist Jon Paiano is making his mark on the scene with the
release of his debut EP, Lifted. After officially hitting the
iTunes store on October 7, 2013, the three-track record is serving as an
excellent launching point for even more music and a full-length album
in the future.
Igniting in 2012, Paiano’s young country career immediately took flight thanks to a lifetime filled with music and practice. After picking up the drum sticks at age 8 and the guitar shortly thereafter, he continued to learn and master a variety of instruments before falling for country music after high school. Armed with a dynamic sense for songwriting and a soulful, captivating voice, he dove headfirst into the industry to carve out his own niche in the music landscape.
Paiano released a pair of singles, “My New Home” and “Riding Down” in late 2012 and early 2013, signaling his arrival onto the country music circuit. Recorded in the legendary music city of Nashville, each track sees the young artist exhibiting influences of Lee Brice, Joe Diffie, Jason Aldean and others while adding his own unique flair for songwriting and storytelling.
A handful of performances throughout the South Jersey and Philadelphia area soon followed, including gigs at the Texaco Country Showdown, Liberty Pro Rodeo and Sugar House Casino. Joined on stage by Tim Eastburn on lead guitar, bassist Mason Ingling and drummer Bill Finocchairo, Paiano’s sound balloons to new heights, treating audiences to an inspired, memorable show each and every time.
Now with Lifted out on the market and more performances scheduled in the coming months, Paiano is continuing to write in preparation for his debut full-length album. With plans to hit the studio again in early 2014, this is truly just the beginning for this up and coming modern country guitarist.
Lifted, “My New Home,” and “Riding Down” are all currently available on the iTunes store for purchase. Check out streaming audio and the music video for “My New Home” on the official Jon Paiano website, and stay updated on all of the latest news by connecting on Facebook and Twitter.
