King Rawzky: Rhythm and Pleasure
The Pacific Northwest will never be the same. King Rawzky, a new
challenger to the underground throne has emerged from Portland, Oregon
as the next living legend to shake up the hip hop and R&B game with a
fresh new twist on today’s sound. Representing Rhythm and Pleasure
(R&P), this up and comer is blending jazz, rap and R&B with an
eclectic list of musical influences to create something that’s truly his
own.
Rawzky seemed destined for greatness from day one, as his father, one of the greatest to ever pick up a bass, passed on his musical gifts to his son. After founding his own Rawzky Records, the King quickly inked four other local legends to the docket, already assembling the next team destined for industry glory. His debut album, Da Real, Da Fake, Kream Tween Dat Make Da Kake hit the streets soon afterward, featuring 16 original tracks of blazing hip hop and R&B straight out of the Northwest. With King Rawzky headlining and a host of Portland’s hottest local artists backing him up, this quickly becomes one of the must-listen albums of the season.
With the Rawzky crew up and running alongside their first release, tours and performances are already in the works for summer 2014.
