Brand New Music from Bela Von Ponyi
Chicago’s own Bela Von Ponyi is making moves and shaking up the
scene, pumping out fiery club beats while preparing to release his most
explosive album yet. Hot on the heels of a pair of inspired, innovative
instrumental releases, this up and comer’s latest effort is set to be
unleashed in January 2014, just in time to thaw the icy winter chill
with a hot blast of electronica.
A lifelong music fan and performer, Bela Von picked up the piano and trumpet as a teenager during his experience with the school marching band. After joining the Army and being deployed overseas, he discovered the software that would shape his musical career for years to come. Experimenting, writing and recording soon followed, as he fell head over heels into a deep pool of musical exploration driven by electronic beats, deep synth and dubstep.
By fall 2012, Bela Von dropped his first full-length release, Black Death. Featuring 14 tracks of genre-bending dance, dubstep, and electronica, this record saw the young artist breaking free and finding his own unique voice as an inspired new writer.
Judge Me Not soon followed in early 2013, loaded with 11 more songs of Bela Von’s addictive trademark sound. Continuing to incorporate new beats and loops while drawing deep on his influences, the album hit digital retailers and internet radio immediately, signaling his arrival in the indie dance and DJ scenes.
Driven by his undying passion for music and the need to share his creations with the world, Bela Von is back and better than ever with another series of fiery instrumental tracks. Destined to be his most adventurous and exciting release yet, his upcoming 2014 release is the next step in a burgeoning young career ready to launch to the next step.
Black Death and Judge Me Not are both available for purchase via digital retailers such as iTunes and Amazon now. Check out streaming audio on his Jango radio page and stay up on all the latest news surrounding the new album on Facebook.
