JayWin and The Leaders of the Artistic Revolution
Javon Godwin, also known as JayWin, is a young, talented, songwriter, producer, rapper, and Vice President of the Leaders of the Artistic Revolution Entertainment. Born on March 25, 1990 in Brooklyn, New York, both of JayWin’s parents were of Jamaican descent. It was inevitable that JayWin would grow up influenced by the reggae culture, as his father is former reggae artist Curry Don. Very motivated and highly ambitious, JayWin is totally devoted to his music.
JayWin’s style of rapping is mainstream, but flashy as he brings swagger to his rhymes and makes them enjoyable for listeners of all genres. Ever since JayWin was young, he has always had a passion for music, specifically beat boxing, which brought him to his career as an entertainer. He loved producing beats and bringing his own sound to the hip hop and pop life. JayWin discovered that he wanted to take rap seriously when he linked up with his brother, Rohan Da Great, while vacationing in January 2010. When he first got on the mic, he recorded his first song, which was a remix of “So Hard” by Rihanna and Young Jeezy.
In August of 2011, JayWin became the Vice President of the company headed by his brother Rohan Da Great, Leaders of the Artistic Revolution. With JayWin’s knack for turning creativity into success, his music will undoubtedly leave an indelible print for years to come!
