premiere,all original Honky-Tonk Band. Blending the Country Music Sounds
of yesteryear with the parlance of our time. JonEmery's song writing is
influenced by the tongue in cheek lyrics of Jerry Reed & Hank
Thompson while capturing the soul and sounds of mid-70's country like
Johnny Paycheck & George Jones.
Dry County Drinkers hit the scene in May of 2010 and have been WOWing crowds on the West Coast ever since. Pairing up with Country Music Greats; David Allan Coe, Commander Cody & Reckless Kelly and Regional Country Music Icons; Red Meat, Hellbound Glory & The Pine Box Boys.
JonEmery and The Drinkers have also donated their time and funds to "Folsom Live" 2010 & 2011 opening up for Ronnie Milsap & Los Lobos for Hope Produtions Foundation, "School's Out For Summer" Westlake Charter School Benefit 2011 opening for Alien Ant Farm, "Rock Out To Knock Out Breast Cancer" 2011, "Bands For Boobs" 2012, and donated show funds to the Red Cross for the Tornado Relief Fund 2010, Japan Tsunami Fund 2011, Nashville Flood Relief Fund 2011, Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund 2012 & had their inaugural Honky-Tonk for Hunger show 2012 benefiting local food banks for the homeless 2012.
This 3x SAMMIE Nominee recently released their Sophmore 8 song Demo EP "One Drink, One Smoke, One Song" in November of 2012 featuring "Jukebox & A Drink", Clean Shaven, Sober & Celibate" & "Britney Spears & Beers" having won the attention of Sirius Outlaw Country Radio, KOOK.com, Saving Country Music, Honkytonkjunkies.com, Blue Ribbon Radio, Radio Revival & Trailer Park Romance with their debut 6 song Demo EP "If You Ain't Drunk..." featuring their anti-political anthem and title track "If You Aint Drunk (You're With The Terrorists)", the rowdy and raucious "Little Less Cryin',Little More Drinkin'" and their ode to where it all began, dive bars in California with "The Last Real Bar In California", Dry County Drinkers have high hopes of expanding their fan base and prowess on the West Coast and beyond. Currently The Drinkers are fast at work on their next release "Whiskey In The Bottle" due out June of 2013.
