A Lyricist Coming from Dade County Miami
Andre Barney, better known as D-Lyne has been mastering the craft of
hip hop since 1997. While well known in the underground Of Miami, he is
now ready to introduce the world to the beauty of his genius.
He has already performed at BET Spring Bling, college venues, prestigious clubs such as the Living Room, Sobe Live, The Polo Club, The Skyline, and was featured on Crazy Exposure, filmed at the Sony building on South Beach.
D-Lyne's work and ethics even grabbed the attention of certain magazine publishers which landed him a spread in the Heats magazines' Memorial Day weekend release. D-lyne drew motivation from musical influences as diverse as his music from Big Pun, Busta Rhymes, DMX and Biggie to the Isley Brothers, the Whispers, Stylistics and Kool & the Gang.
The Hustle and street savvy he learned growing up and finding comfort in the hood, he incorporates that with his drive and determination to work his way to the top and beyond while spending countless hours in studios, self promotion, and his rugged and lyrical rhyme scheme format.
Through it all his grind never loses speed, the love he has for music is undying, and the only thing bigger is his love for Family, Honor and Loyalty.
