Store Zombies are ready to take their captivating brand of fun-loving
music from coast to coast with the release of their highly anticipated
debut LP. Following years of constant West coast gigging, writing and
recording, the self-titled Dime Store Zombies record is ready to see the light of day on September 17, 2013.
In a scene overwrought with rigid and stiff tunes, Dime Store Zombies are dedicated to delivering a high-energy performance inspired by the most important element of all – FUN. Jamming a head-bobbing blend of alternative rock and indie pop punk, this four-piece unit continues to blow up the local clubs and venues throughout California as soon as they set foot onstage.
Dime Store Zombies rose from the dead in 2008 with founding members and longtime collaborators James Preston (vocals, keyboards) and Mike Baker (drums), joined by Chris Berry (guitar) and Jack Luster (bass). Experienced, adventurous and committed to a vibrant, risky blend of songwriting and performing, the foursome quickly gelled, generating buzz among Southern California fans and media members.
