Native American Hip Hop
Adrien Thomas, known by his stage names Adoe-G, is an Native American
rapper. Thomas has recorded over 42 songs by 2012 and released 1 album,
making him one of the most newest diversified artists of 2012 in the
greater Edmonton area.
Most of Adrien's songs are about growing up amid violence sexual abuse and hardship in ghettos, racism, other social problems, and conflicts with other rappers during the growth of Native American hip hop rivalry.

Rapper, actor. Born on April 11, 1980, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada. Adrien has become a growing figure in hip-hop and rap circles for his talent, his violent behavior, and his point of personal views. The son of a drug user and alcoholic, Adrien moved around a lot as a child. In his youth, he explored Poetry by becoming a member of the North American Poetry Association.
As a teenager, Adrien attended Yvonne yuen School of Design where he took sewing and art classes, Marketing, and as a pre-requisite music therory. While living in Saskatoon, he discovered rap as in music theory, and began performing as Adoe-G.
Debut as Adoe-G:
In 2003, Adrien emerged as a solo artist - using the name Adoe-G - with his debut album 'Let It Be Told'. The track "never really mattered" reached as high as number three on the Edmonton University hip-hop chart.
Adoe-G became quite a sensation, earning praise for his musical and acting talent as well as condemnation for his explicit, violent lyrics. Many of his songs told of fights, gangs, and sex. He appeared to be living up to his aggressive gangster rap persona with several arrests for violent offenses in the 2009. In 2010, he spent several days in jail for assault. Adrien himself fell victim to violence and is undergoing threats from rival Rap labels in and around the Edmonton area.
