Don't Sleep on Young Z
Zach Moncrief, better known as his stage name "Young Z". He's an
american rapper from Sioux Falls South Dakota, that has a passion for
writing and recording music, and giving the crowds an electric show each
and every time. He was musically inspired at the age of 4. He began
writing music and free styling at age 14, then got serious with it at
age 17.
Ever since then he's dropped 2 CDs, and a collab CD with one of his closest friends. "The Beginning" was the debut Mixtape to create a buzz in the area. "The Story Of MK & YZ" was the CD to let the people know a little more about the 2 rappers "Majeur-K & Young Z" which did better then expected.
Then Young Z dropped his 3rd Mixtape "19 YearZ Later" which was released on www.hotnewhiphop.com. It did beyond excellent with more then 930 digital downloads. Very impressive for a young up coming artist. Not to mention, he has handed out over 800 copies in Sioux Falls and surrounding cities and mailed out over 100 copies in the USA.
He has opened for: Stevie Stone (Strange Music), Lil Wyte, (formerly with 3 6 Mafia) and Skatterman. The words: give up, quit, garbage, and haters are all foreign to him and nothing will get in the way of him while he's chasing his dream. Hard work pays off, and he has surely shown that with his stats that he's earned over the past couple years and counting.
For example: his Facebook has 5K likes, his Twitter has 33K followers, his Youtube has 4K subscribers, and his rank in Reverbnation is #2 for Sioux Falls, SD. Do not sleep on him, because the ones that sleep on him will be the ones to see him on top.
