About Kevlar
Kevlar, aka Justin Burch, is an Albuquerque resident who is dedicated to bringing back the old Hip Hop style. From a young age, Justin enjoyed the wordplay that was associated with Hip Hop and Rap. As a pastime, he used to play around with metaphors, punch lines, and more, shaping him into the lyricist he is today. In his journey to bring back the good old days, Kevlar is releasing his debut album, ‘Martial Law’ as well as his clothing line ‘Cold Hearted.’ His debut album is set to be released on Halloween of 2021. The album is full of music that echoes Kevlar’s own experiences in his life. His dream for the album is for it to have a positive impact on every listener.
Upcoming Shows
Kevlar plans on setting up a state of Texas Tour that will hit majority of the small towns and big cities. Kevlar will be the only act performing at the venues, so he can spend time with attendees on a personal level and speak to each member of the audience. He has put together a hour long set to showcase his talent to the great state of Texas. What makes Kevlar different than majority of the other rappers now days is he wants to schedule house concerts with fans and bring the performance to their living room or back yard. Kevlar believes this would allow listeners to really enjoy the concert without any type of distractions a local club would cause. Cold Hearted Clothing and Martial Law Album
Kevlar has debuted a clothing line called Cold Hearted. The line is inspired yet again by the old Hip Hop scene and artists. Their fashion and style are what the artist feels are mostly absent in today’s generation. The clothing line Cold Hearted is already available to browse through, and the debut album is all set to be released on October 31, 2021. Charity Work
Kevlar is from Albuquerque, NM where the homeless rate is high to the point shelters turn down people because lack of available beds. He has always been firm believer of giving back to the community, so Kevlar created a GoFundMe Page where all proceeds will be used to help make the homeless situation slow down. He believes offering programs such as job placement and resume writing would allow more opportunities to open up.
