Do you know “What You’ve Been Missin’,” because Trevor Joe Schiro, aka MyztaFreak, definitely has a clue. With his influential, addictive style, MyztaFreak has been attracting fans since the inception of his passion for writing in 2006.

Born and raised in New Orleans Louisiana, MyztaFreak was attracted to the flow and style of local MC’s at a young, critical age. After moving from New Orleans, to Houston, then finally to Indiana, Trevor began writing at the age of thirteen. Soon after, he began to develop his freestyle at school, local hangouts, and personal parties. These scenes are where The Freak attained his most impressive skill; his unique, mind blowing freestyle.

After years of building his talent, MyztaFreak exploded on to the local scene with a style that had never been heard before. With songs like “Saturday Night,” “Ya’ Don’t Stop,” and “Madd Psyentist” MyztaFreak demonstrated that his affinity for horror films fit right in with the style he has invented with influence from artists like Wu Tang, Biggie, Eminem, and Tupac. As a true student of the music industry, MyztaFreak continues to demonstrate his ever-expanding talent in each song and style he masters and perfects.

With his 10th independent mixtape in the past eighteen months, “Slug Life” promises to carry on Myzta’s track record of fresh, enriched style and dedication. The mixtape is filled with the bold presence of playful surfaces, countless conundrums, infectious beats, and messages that can be appreciated by anyone of any age.
