Rev Lelton Davis' Music and Ministry
Rev Lelton Davis Jr was born in Phoenix, AZ to Lelton Davis Sr and
Janice Hollins in 1979 and attended Sierra Vista Elementary School where
he excelled in sports. Rev Davis later went on to high school at South
Mountain High School and Tempe high School where he later graduated. Rev
Davis continued to excel in both football and basketball where he won a
state championship in football at Tempe, and later received a
scholarship to play basket ball at South Mountain community College. Rev
Davis after receiving his associate’s degree, transfered to Arizona
State University.
In 2006 Rev Davis formed a partnership with his cousin Jovan Hollins to create a independent record label called Phox Wit It Entertainment. Phox Wit It Entertainment first project was a group named the Davis Boyz with Rev Davis, and several of his cousins who had formed this Hip Hop band to use their talent in a positive manner.
In 2010 Rev Davis received a calling from God, and left the Davis Boyz to answer his call as a minister. In 2010 Rev Davis married his long time girlfriend Deeanna Jackson as he step out In faith in obedience to God’s word. Still with the passion to do music Rev Davis decided not to retire, but to switch genre. Rev Davis has changed genre, but still displays his skills, gifts, and love for music. Rev Davis has produced a Gospel Album for the streets to reach those outside the church walls. Rev Davis is honest, and truthful as he presents his pains, trials, and experiences through his music.
His gospel album Modern Giants has a southwest hip hop feel with old school southern Gospel roots. Phox Wit It Entertainment will introduce the music, and ministry of Rev Lelton Davis. Rev Lelton Davis will share his passion, hard work, spirit, message, and musical talents with the world with his debut album to be released in 2012. Rev Lelton Davis released a single on CD Baby called God got Us to introduce himself into the world of Christian music.
Rev Lelton Davis has used many internet resources to help promote this single through music promotion, and reviews. Ex: (www.reverbnation.com/revleltondavis) or (Myspace.com/revleltondavis) Rev Davis decided to use his musical gifts to help share the gospel message of Jesus Christ. Rev Davis believes in utilizing his entire God giving gifts to praise God. Rev Davis writes, preaches, teaches, and shares his experiences though his music. Phox Wit It Entertainment will explore all options to market, promote, distribute, and work with all music professionals. Phox Wit It Entertainment plans to successfully establish Rev Davis as a top Christian artist, and distribute his music worldwide.
