Singer-Songwriter Jonathan Bardolph Announces New Singles

What's this Composer been up to for years? Erm..
Well not sitting around in a darkened room counting crotchets and minims! Since 1998 when JONATHAN BARDOLPH released his first debut of "Jubilate" - based on Psalm 100, he was joined by the Reed's School choral society and members of the Chandos Orchestra which made headlines in a local paper.
Jonathan BardolphBARDOLPH's "Legend of Faust" was played by the University of Stirling orchestra in 2002 and since then has been developing his style...
And then out of the blue songs appear - not classical pieces! What the hell? Delving into the land of Indie with two friends who have provided the vocal talent for such a mission - Anna Burns and Angie Joice.
With each of his songs seems to be a story... and here are two of them...
Anonymous Girl (sung by Angie) - a story of a girl brought up her mother after her father left home when she was young. She finds out that he lives nearby and one day she sees him around town. Her town? - all these years have past and he was only a few miles down the road. So this anonymous girl wonders - does she try and get to know her father or is she better off without him?
I See You (sung by Anna) - a song depicting a lost love - a love between two lovers torn apart by the other's sudden death. But she receives some comfort in that she still sees him - still sees him in her memories when her eyes are closed and the times they spend return in glorious rejuvenation. A little sappy but hey - isn't that love? It can be I think.
Both songs and more are available on iTunes. The next release will introduce further songs and compositions written by JONATHAN BARDOLPH and the thinking behind the music.
