Hot 5 Star Music Group Artist Mechey Belly Prepares Debut LP Release

Born and raised in Dallas, but poised to take over his home away from home of Bakersfield, California, up and comer Mechey Belly is one of the latest fiery hip hop artists to take his talents from coast to coast. A proud member of the 5 Star Music Group roster, he’s back in the studio working on a debut LP, Black King, which is destined to be “a hip hop masterpiece.”

With an ultra-slick flow and a variety of musical influences, Mechey Belly blends elements of multiple rap and R&B sub-genres to generate his own infectiously catchy sound. Inspired by life’s ups and downs, raw emotion and legends from different eras such as 2Pac and Lil Wayne, his rhymes are inherently relatable and personal, ideal for smoky midnight rides and hot Saturday nights in the city’s hottest clubs.
