Echos From The Creek | USA x Nigeria Colab - Largest Movie Premium in Bayelsa State History!

Green. Bay WI — Saturday, August 21st, 2021 — Following the massive international nominations from notable film festivals around the world for his debut Niger Delta Stories Series, Milestone of a Thousand Potraits, Nigerian’s sweetheart Director & movie sensation, Patrick Marcus Daudoukumor popularly known as PMD the vision, wows our screens again with a brand new film, Echoes From The Creek.

Echoes From The Creek (#EFTCthemovie) is another unique melodrama, very specific and relative to the depth of self denial and greed perpetrated in the crude oil polluted mangrove areas of Niger Delta, a region covering about 9 states in Southern, Nigeria- the nations treasure generating about 97% of the country’s GDP, yet neglected and continuously impoverished by the country’s federal executive council and oil regulating agencies.

In his dedication and directorial vigour to tell exceptional and unconventional stories that meet both artistic, commercial and societal values, PMD the vision, partnered with both home based and international companies and individuals, to create a general commercial and economic appeal for movie lovers and investors. This project in his words, “this is not just a collaboration for the papers but a collaboration to create a consistent market for the documentation and promotion of Ijaw (Niger Delta) stories” his cogent reasons are that, “the Ijaw Nation was slacking in adequate and accurate documentation of her stories, history and heroes, sighting the case, of the Late. Adaka Boro, the First Leader of the Ijaw Nation who barely have enough of his history documented for the up and coming generations despite his unmatched achievements in the actualization of the Ijaw Nation.

As the clock ticks towards the greatest film premiere in Bayelsa, top Bayelsan Politicians and Stakeholders, endorse the official screening of the “Echoes From The Creeks.”

This transpired when the D. Don JP Kings Films, led by Nollywood Director, Patrick Marcus Daudoukumor aka PMD the vision, and his team paid a courtesy visit to Rt. Hon. Tonye Emmanuel Isenah, the lawmaker representing Kolokuma/Opokuma Constituency at the State Legislative Building. Hon. Isenah throws in his support by endorsing the Premiere and further emphases his commitment to promote and build Ijaw Contents, a dream he has been working towards. He congratulated the team for their courage and persistence in telling indigenous stories and their efforts to put Bayelsa on the global mainstream for film and media. He further reiterated that he will be physically present at the Premiere and he’s calling on all sons and daughters of Ijaw Land to come see the masterpiece- which is a reference tool to Ijaw history for the up and coming generations.

As the doses of endorsements continually roll in, The Office of The Honorable Commissioner, Bayelsa State Ministry of Ijaw National Affairs, headed by Chief Erasmus Patrick, officially endorses the Premiere of Echoes From The Creeks, as this is very vital to his role and office in promoting the Ijaw Culture among the Z- generation who needs to reckon with their root and study more about the fearless and ever dogged Ijaw citizens, her culture and her way of life.
