Introducing Ray Gantek and David Max Baldwin
Ray Gantek has been around doing his thing for years. Ray started
playing the bass guitar full-time at the age of 14 with his Dads’ and
other country bands. He later moved into lead and steel guitars while
playing in local bands and backing up Nashville artists. Then he met
Eric Weissburg (Deliverance, "Dueling Banjos"), joined his band and
started doing radio and TV jingles, movie scores and record albums. Ray
has appeared on TV, stage and theater with many artists, whether
country, rock, blues or jazz. He plays the fiddle, banjo, mandolin,
harmonica, acoustic, and electric guitar. He also plays pedal steel,
dobro, banjo, keyboards, and drums. He is currently recording and mixing
at Ray Gantek Productions in Weirsdale, Flordia He is a member of
Nashville Pro Musicians and Singer and one of the members of the Orange
Blossom Opry.
Now a Friend David Max Baldwin grew up listening to his parents and family play, and sing southern gospel music. He learned to play rhythm guitar at the age of 15, and joined the gospel group. He traveled the state and sang in churches on Saturday nights. At the age of eighteen, he cut his left hand with a table saw. It was ten years or more before he started playing again. His musical style is mostly Country with a little bit of Rock and Roll and a touch of gospel. Over the years he has done a couple of CDs and now he makes his living as a DJ, and karaoke host and is just happy to be involved in music. He recently decided to start working with live acoustic music along with Ray Gantek.
