Now a Friend David Max Baldwin grew up listening to his parents and family play, and sing southern gospel music. He learned to play rhythm guitar at the age of 15, and joined the gospel group. He traveled the state and sang in churches on Saturday nights. At the age of eighteen, he cut his left hand with a table saw. It was ten years or more before he started playing again. His musical style is mostly Country with a little bit of Rock and Roll and a touch of gospel. Over the years he has done a couple of CDs and now he makes his living as a DJ, and karaoke host and is just happy to be involved in music. He recently decided to start working with live acoustic music along with Ray Gantek.
