ABOUT

Ibrymo Oluwabukunmi Atanda Wells, known by his stage name Enwel, is a Nigerian-born songwriter, singer, and solo artist who presently resides in Manchester, United Kingdom. He started off as a songwriter at the age of 14, back in Nigeria. He studied at Manchester College, Openshaw Campus, attaining a degree (Diploma In IT Business Software) in the year 2011/12.

Apparently, Enwel never went to music school, nor does he play any instrumentals. However, he is such an amazing and talented songwriter that, he writes songs on both on and off beats and also, he is quite good with sounds, as he pretty much knows what he wants but just needs the help of a producer or sound engineer to bring his sounds or imaginations, perhaps, creative minds to live.

Moreover, his professional music career began in the United Kingdom in 2017, when he released his first-ever single “Go Down,” featuring two of his fellow up-and-coming artists. Even though he has not got the best voice, he appreciated the fact that he had the privilege to showcase his amazing songwriting skills to the world. That actually got him noticed or recognized, and that gave him the motivation to release another single “Duduyemi(My African Princess)”, roughly a year after. There, the journey has just begun
