Valentin is alive and well in the middle of the war

Praia, Cape Verde — What if I told you that Valentine is alive and well? You might be thinking “what on earth are you talking about”? First a question: do you know who Valentine was?

St. Valentine, (died 3rd century, Rome; feast day February 14),  is the patron saint of lovers, epileptics, and beekeepers.

According to britannica.com, St. Valentine signed a letter “from your Valentine” to his jailer’s daughter, whom he had befriended and healed from blindness. Another common legend states that he defied the emperor’s orders and secretly married couples to spare the husbands from war.

That’s what Gii, Alex & Geissa prove to us on their new afrobeat ballad song titled #FLAL. The song tells the story of a couple who met at a young age in high school and found each other again in modern times of post pandemic crisis, in the middle of a war.
