Myles.casey Adds To His Growing Discography With “1 16”

Atlanta, Georgia – April 23, 2020 – Myles Jenkins, known in the music realm as myles.casey has always been a creative soul; from his upbringing in Charlotte, North Carolina to the current life he’s trying to build for himself in one of hip hop’s leading cities, Atlanta. This talented rapper has been creating music for the past five years. Working endlessly to get his voice heard in the vast landscape that is the music industry has had its definite highs and lows for this indie artist, but everything aligned this year and in 2020 he dropped a few albums, and his latest single “1 16.”
With an avant-garde, experimental approach “1 16” stands apart from the typical hip hop heard on airwaves today due to myles.casey taking on all the producing and engineering aspects of his music. A risk, but one that will pay off when it comes to impressing audiences who want to step outside the box. Something myles.casey has always been about. “1 16” follows the release of three albums from August 2019 through February 2020 ‘Benji,’ Nouvelle Musique,’ and ‘Active.’
Together they deliver two dozen tracks that continue to push myles.casey away from the pack. ‘Benji’ was his debut mixtape that showcases his ability to rock the stage with the likes of other alternative rappers like Kid Cudi and Tyler the Creator. While ‘Nouvelle Musique’ took him in a whole new direction; gospel. Not one to fear the unknown, myles.casey lives to explore every possible side of his talent. With that, no genre is off the table. Being one with a hip hop heart though, he returned to his roots for ‘Active’ as well as his latest single, “1 16.”
Lyrically, myles.casey is unmatched. This comes from his years of studying creative writing and the degree he holds in the subject from North Carolina Agriculture & Technical State University. While in college myles.casey realized his musical skills when he formed a group with two friends; Kin. The group released a pair of EPs, and a couple of singles before myles.casey relocated to Atlanta and set out on his own.
