Thurane Delivers Most Authentic Worship EP In Decades

Phoenix, Arizona – February 18, 2020 – Number one Reverbnation and recording artist thurane releases his debut worship E.P. “: Authentic Worship :” on SPINNUP/Universal Music Group. 

Working with co-producer/engineer Austin Deptula (Paul Baloche, Leann Rimes, Brenton Brown), worship leader and singer-songwriter thurane co-produced the four-song EP, enlisting Oli Morgan of Universal Music Group’s Abbey Road Studios (The Beatles, Ed Sheeran) for additional post-production assistance. More support came from Saltmine Studio Oasis, producers Kevin Stratton & Ken Mary, Mastering engineer Nathan James, and engineer Mike Mattingly.  

The musicians on the record include thurane on guitar and vocals, and stellar performances by drummer Andy Augustin (with thurane for six years), bassist/keyboardist Nick Marshall, Bassist Brad Sirota, and keyboardist Katie Kosier.

“It’s All Good (ATAGIY)” and “You Gave Me (the ANSWER)” are among the uptempo rock-n-worship tunes; “Over & Under” is a medium tempo song inspired by Psalms 139:8; and “Worthy” is a high energy power ballad ala “Great Are You Lord” by All Sons & Daughters.

Bassist Tony Jordan performs live worship with thurane along with Andy Augustin.

Founding member of HR band New Jerusalem (Gray Dot/Bulletproof Records) and Kenyon Grey (RCM Records) thurane started in Christian hard rock and adult contemporary before launching his worship music ministry.

“Achieving the deal with NJ’s signing to Gray Dot was the result of intense prayer, incredibly hard work & rejection that would discourage only the most passionate about God’s call on their life,” says thurane, “…compared to the NJ record deal, we essentially cinched getting Kenyon Grey signed to RCM Records.” thurane also noted, “That Third Day was originally with Gray Dot was a great bonus, increasing NJ’s value in the Christian music industry.”
