Featuring visuals and presentations by directors: Burke Roberts(Bizzurke Army), Ward Roberts(Dust Up), Mike Bruce(Razor Tree Films), Simon Chan(Artificial Army), Stanley Sanger(Rob Riley Sanger), Jean Balest & Sam Barnett, Noel Lawrence(J.X. Williams Archives), & Abigail Bean(Dirty Robber)
As well as a special sneak peek of the Upcoming video for "Theme from Drifters Pass"(directed by Abigail Bean) and a screening of "Theme from Ghost Patrol" (directed by Jean Balest and Sam Barnett)
Spindrift officially present the latest offering from their sonic soundtrack soundscape album "Classic Soundtracks Vol. 1"(out on Xemu Records & distributed by Redeye). A musical resume for the bands contribution to the art of the film score. As premiered on IFC starting Spring 2011, Spindrift has showcased each track with a different film offering on this album. Continually redefining what the movie score relation should be with the director, this new venture from Spindrift is a gathering of tribes among all the different directors and music and film fans alike. Funded by fans by using a Kickstarter page, the album was recorded at Hicksville Trailer Palace(Thank you Morgan!) in Joshua Tree, CA in Dec. 2010 after a 7 week US Tour. The album was engineered and mixed by Ethan Allen and Jim Watts. Following a recent 2 Month European tour with Dead Meadow, Black Mountain, & Kurt Vile, Spindrift have gone on to score feature films "Dust Up"(directed by Ward Roberts), "Treasure of the Black Jaguar"(directed by Mike Bruce), and the soon to be a feature "Legend of the Widower Colby Wallace"(directed by Burke Roberts). As well as producing/acting/ and scoring their own Spaghetti Western homage film, "The Legend of Gods Gun", Spindrift have also been featured in the Quentin Tarantino production of "Hell Ride" and HBO's "East Bound & Down".
